Prices and accounting
Vitrina 172
Account currencies such as the talent, the pound or the sueldo were not minted. They were fixed accounting references to establish the price of products, services or the different coins in circulation. The adoption of the decimal system in Spain, between 1848 and 1864, made accounting and trading operations easier.
